If the upload stops
Leave the tab open for a minute and check whether the percentage changes. A large cloud part can take time to complete on a slow upstream connection. If the browser reports that the network changed, restore the original connection where possible. Moving between Wi-Fi and mobile data can invalidate an in-flight request.
If progress remains unchanged, confirm that the device is awake, the browser is not in a battery-saving state and the internet connection can upload other data. VPNs, corporate proxies, antivirus web shields and restrictive networks can interrupt long requests. Test a smaller non-sensitive file to separate a general compatibility problem from a size or connection problem.
An incomplete upload is not a usable transfer. If you must start again, create one new transfer and share only its newest code so the recipient does not keep attempting an abandoned session.
If the transfer code is rejected
HubTransfer codes contain five letters or numbers. Remove spaces, verify similar characters carefully and ask the sender to copy the code again. An on-screen “not found” or expiry message means the browser could not find an active session for that exact code; it does not mean the whole website is offline.
A code may fail because the upload never completed, its 30-minute fallback window ended, or a first download was already completed and the transfer was deleted. In those cases the sender needs to create a fresh transfer from the original file.
If the download is interrupted
First check the browser's download panel instead of relying only on the web page. Ensure the destination has enough free space and that security software did not quarantine the file. Keep the HubTransfer page open while the browser assembles or saves the download.
An interrupted download does not intentionally trigger immediate deletion. You can retry with the same code if the transfer has not reached its fallback expiry. However, the 30-minute window continues to run from upload completion; it is not restarted by every attempt. A download that starts near expiry may not have enough time for another full retry.
Send a useful support report
If the problem continues, use the support form. Include the five-character code, approximate local time, whether the failure happened during upload or download, file size, operating system, browser name and the exact on-screen error. Never send the file itself or any password.
- Copy the exact error text.
- State the last percentage you observed.
- Mention VPN, proxy or mobile-network use.
- Do not publicly post an active transfer code.
